My Chat with #1 Best Selling “Shred” Author Dr. Ian Smith

Posted January 21, 2013 by jimhigley

I had the opportunity to interview author of the #1 best seller, “Shred: The Revolutionary Diet,” Dr. Ian Smith last week. I think you’ll enjoy finding out why this diet – a combination of all his past research – is having staggering results around the country!

My kids tell me with regularity that I’m confusing. Now #1 New York Times bestselling author Dr. Ian Smith’s  tells me I need to be confusing my diet more often.

Confused? Well don’t be.

It actually all makes sense to me now that I’ve had a chance to sit down and talk one-on-one with Dr. Smith. His new book, SHRED: The Revolutionary Diet – Six Weeks, Four Inches, Two Sizes integrates all of Dr. Smith’s strategic dieting tools into one, easy-to-follow plan.

And one of the main concepts of it is “Diet Confusion.” Like muscle confusion, Diet Confusion tricks the body and revs up its performance. In the same way you need to vary your workout to see results, you can switch up your food intake to boost your metabolism and increase weight loss.

The plan seems to work. With incredible results. Over a six-week program, “Shredders” will eat four meals and three snacks a day, and the book promises an average loss of 4 inches and two clothing sizes.

Sound tempting? Check out the interview on Bobblehead Dad Radio on WebTalk Radio for the rest of the story!

It says not to go more than 4 hours without eating and Im on week 2 of Shredder and I work in OR and I have to eat at 11am and wont get off until 5 so I wont eat until 6pm. Should I have a small snack at 3pm or 4pm or just wait the 6 hours? Which would hinder the weightloss?
