Buckle up. We have a lot to cover in this episode of Bobblehead Dad Radio. First, NASCAR Champion (and DAD!) Jeff Gordonstops by to talk about a really important topic, pertussis. Commonly referred to as whooping cough, pertussis is currently reaching epidemic levels with kids in the United States. And it’s totally preventable with vaccines. Jeff’s here today to talk about a new awareness campaign, The Sounds of Pertussis, and encourage parents and all adults who are exposed to children to stay current with their vaccines.
Next, we’ll have a chat with a Dove Men+Care dermatologist, Jeff Benabio, who has some helpful advice for all dads (and moms!) to keep our kids skin healthy.
And our last stop is a visit with a pediatrician and dad, Dr. David Hill who has just come out with a terrific new book, Dad to Dad: Parenting Like a Pro. I really like this guy and he has a lot to share with all dads.
