This show is a real treat. For me. And I’m sure it will be for you.

We’re joined by Jonny Imerman who is founder and Chief Mission Officer of Imerman Angels 1-on-1 Cancer Support, the world’s largest support network for people battling cancer as well as for their caregivers. Imerman Angels provides free support, on an individual basis, by matching people with someone who has been through their journey. It’s a model that is based on the fundamental belief that if you put the right two people – one who needs support and one who is willing to provide it – compassion happens. It’s the most basic form of humanity.

Jonny Imerman lives compassion. He lives kindness. He lives an inquisitive, selfless life that is evident in his every minute.

He was recently named a CNN Hero of 2012 – no small accomplishment for a young man who simply built an organization on the belief that everyone going through a cancer journey deserves support.

The global theme of today’s show is kindness. Compassion. It’s a show that is intended to share a nugget of goodness in hopes that it will inspire you to find time in your busy life to help others.
