#BigLeagueDads (Tampa)

Not only did we have a bunch of Boston Red Sox fans sitting around us – we also had Aaron Gouveia taunting us electronically during last night’s game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston. But despite having Red Sox Nation in stereo, the Rays were able to stay alive with a ninth inning walk-off homer by Jose Lobaton – which landed in the famed Rays Touch Tank, a 10,000 gallon tank – containing rays from the Tampa Bay.

Is it a coincidence that our team of Big League Dads, including Carter Gaddis and Robert Greenwood, had JUST made a trip to the tank with the kids?

I think not.

Keep those messages coming, Aaron. Game #4 is tonight.

Thanks to MLB and Dove Men + Care who made our real moment happen. It’s all part of their end-of-the season campaign, “Big League Dads” –  and it features a new video each week.

Check out the #BigLeagueDads Instagram Contest! And enter your own photo of of our your family – and maybe you’ll be heading to an opening day game next season. It’s as simple as that.  And whether you’re a dad, a mom, an aunt, an uncle – or just someone with a kid who loves you – I hope you’ll give that child some real moments to remember in the waning days of this passing season.

Well now I can’t because it’s bad luck.

Great game though and you had some good company last night. Hopefully the series doesn’t come back to Fenway.

We had a great time at the game. It was great meeting you and Carter. Thanks and enjoy Boston!
