Our hunt for new beds continues…

You may recall that I’m in the market for beds. Two new beds. One for myself and one for my teenage son.

And since I don’t buy a bed all that often (let’s just say it’s been a few presidential administrations since I last purchased one), I decided to do some pretty serious research this time around.

Now we’re ready to go shopping! So jump in the car and join us for a new kind of “father-son” bonding experience. And after the video, check out my Top 5 Mattress Shopping Tips!

Let’s go!

Mattress Shopping Tips

  1. Do your mattress research! And while you may not be able to swing a tour of Serta’s R&C Center like I did, talk to your friends about their beds. Better yet, get recommendations from trusted sources like  Serta’s Ratings & Reviews where real owners share their feedback.
  2. Write things down! Make a list about what you like and dislike about your current mattress! And get your partner’s input as well, pal.
  3. Wherever you show, make sure you know their exchange and warranty policy before you buy so there are no surprises.
  4. Where comfortable clothes when you go try out beds. Just be sure not to fall asleep in the process.
  5. Good mattresses aren’t cheap. But keep it in perspective: you’re spending up to 1/3 of your life in bed. Think of your bed as investment.

Stay tuned! Our beds will be arriving soon!

As you can tell, I’ve been compensated by Serta Mattresses in discussing and reviewing their products. Rest assured, however, I’d never endorse or share anything I don’t really believe in.
