My friends at Quaker know the way to my heart. It’s through my head. Make that my bobblehead.
This season, the Chicago Fire soccer team and their jersey sponsor, Quaker, asked fans to vote for the Fire player they wanted to see immortalized in bobblehead form. And the winning bobblehead – defender Austin Berry – will be unveiled today when the Chicago Fire takes on Kansas City at Toyota Park in Chicago.
But with all due respect to Berry, I’m more excited about my own, custom and personalized bobblehead (!) which showed up on my front porch courtesy of the Quaker team. They’ve been spreading the bobblehead love across Chicagoland with their media friends the last several days.
How. Cool. Is. That?
Thanks Quaker. Now where do I sign up to get on a cover of Life cereal?
Why Quaker is cool: Last year, Quaker Oats was named the official Breakfast Foods & Nutritious Snacks Partner of the Chicago Fire, embarking on a shared vision of helping to fuel healthy families through the power of oats and their passion for soccer. Beyond making an impact at the stadium and locally in the community, Quaker also supports 10,000 young athletes nationwide through the Chicago fire Juniors, Major League Soccer’s premier youth development program.
