Yup. We all Stink at Something.

My son Kevin sent me a link to a pretty funny web site depicting a map of the United States accompanied by a list of what each state is “worst” at or, generally speaking, the thing a particular state ranks the lowest in.

My initial reaction was to look at my home state, Nebraska (which, in my opinion, ranks lowest in nothing) and was a little surprised to see it has the highest murder rate of women.

Hmmm, I thought to myself. I’m from a family of all boys. I never knew!

Then, when you start looking at it closer (and, especially, when you start reading the comments posted by viewers – which you can get to by clicking the link above) you start to realize this is all not only silly, but kind of controversial. I get it. Who wants to lay claim to being from the dumbest or, worst yet, the ugliest state?

Anyway, it’s a good chuckle.

So where are you from? Go ahead, defend your home state! Post a comment!

Born in Arkansas- worst credit score, grew up in Arizona- highest rate of alcoholism and have since lived in Nebraska and Illinois-robbery. Lord help me I am doomed to some fabulousness!

Funny stuff. I guess we all need to take it with a grain of salt. I wanna live in Iowa!

Illinois- the highest rate of robbery…
Not so shocking, for there are a lot of establishments here that can trigger robbers to rob. Whew! What a shame.
